REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
(a). Professor:
-Must possess Ph.D with minimum of 12years post certificate experience in university teaching and research in the relevant disciplines;
-Applicants must possess good scholarship publications along with proven of considerable teaching and research as well as proficiency in ICT;
-Must be registered with the various well known professional bodies.
(b). Associate Professor:
-Must possess Ph.D with minimum of 6years post certificate experience in university teaching and research in the relevant disciplines;
-Applicants must possess good scholarship publications along with proven of considerable teaching and research as well as proficiency in ICT.
-Must be registered with the various well known professional bodies.
(c). Senior Lecturer:
-Must possess PhD with minimum of 6years post certificate experience buttressed with a suitable number of application s and proficiency in ICT.
(d). Lecturer I:
-Must possess Ph.D with minimum of 2years teaching and research experience along with a suitable number of Publications and ICT proficiency.
(e). Lecturer II:
-Must be a fresh Ph.D graduate in relevant discipline or in exceptional cases;
-Master’s degree with Advanced Doctoral Programmes.
(f). Assistant Lecturer:
-Master’s degree with evidence of current registration for the doctoral degree from the university.
Note: In exceptional cases, applicants with master’s degree in addition to the highest professional certificate and experience in their respective profession and who possess advanced doctoral programme will be considered for positions of Lecturer II.

(a). University Librarian
Qualification
-Good honours degree with not less than 12years post certificate experience, 8 of which must be spent in the senior management capacity in a university library or related higher institution/comparable establishment;
-Must possess a good record of publications in recognized and reputable journals.
(b). Deputy University Librarian
Qualification
-Good honours degree with not less than 10years post certificate experience, 6 of which must be spent in the senior management capacity in a university library or related higher institution/ comparable establishment;
-Must possess a good record of publications in recognized and reputable journals.
2. NON-TEACHING STAFF VACANCIES
A. DEPARTMENT OF WORKS AND PHYSICAL PLANNING:
(a). Director
Qualification
-Good honours degree in Civil Engineering;
-Must be a member of COREN and NSE professional bodies;
-Minimum of 15years experience.
(b). Deputy Director
Qualification
-Good honours degree in Civil Engineering;
-Must be a member of COREN and NSE professional bodies;
-Minimum of 10years experience.
(c). Senior Physical Planning Officer
Qualification
-Good honours degree in Tropical/Urban/Regional Planning Civil Engineering;
-Must be a member of NITP professional body;
-Minimum of 6years experience.
(d). Principal Engineer
Qualification
-B.Sc in Engineering;
-Not less than 5years experience Or Minimum of OND with at least 11years experience Or HND with at least 9 years experience;

-HND degree with minimum of 2years experience in Pure and Applied Physics
