Current Career Opportunities in an International Organization

Our organisation is a leading international player in marine services, offering to the most demanding oil&gas clients worldwide a full line of innovative, safe, high performance and new generation vessels and an expanded offer of offshore oil & gas services.

We seek to recruit the following two roles in our Port-Harcourt Office.

Job Title: CREDIT COORDINATOR
Duties and Responsibilities
-Provide Business Management with up-to-date, accurate and complete Client Accounts;
-Ensure accurate and timely invoicing, period and provisioning and payment allocation;
-Manage the Client Accounts to payment terms and pro-actively identify issues that delay payment;
-Work with Business Management to identify and resolve issues that arise on the Client Accounts;
-Supervise a small team of Credit Officers who prepare and track invoices;
-Prepare Weekly & Monthly Management Reporting;
-Provide explanation of revenue variances.

Line Reporting & Functional Linkage
Reports to the Accounts Receivable Controller

Key Competency and Behaviour:
-Highly analytical and with good numeracy skills;
-Able to work with detail but maintain an overview;
-Able to identify issues and provide clear feedback to the management;
-Able to work to deadlines with a minimum of supervision;
-Good interpersonal skills with a wide range of people outside the Finance discipline;
-Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural environment.

Education & Experience
-Degree in an Accounting or Finance discipline is required;
-Professional Accounting qualification is an advantage;
-You have worked in the Finance Department of a large commercial enterprise for 2/3 years, ideally withing the Accounts Receivable Section.

Experience in an international environment is an asset.

Languages:
Fluent in English
Computer Knowledge:
-Good mastery of Microsoft Office;
-Knowledge of Oracle is an asset.

Compensation is competitive and depends on experience and qualification



Job Title: REFERRENT ENGINEER
Duties and Responsibilities
-Train all Nigerian engineers in line with company's approved training programs, in class onboard vessels;
-Train and follow up on new engineers under training process;
-Train regularly existing engineers for refreshing;
-Train especially but do not limit to: safety, drills, maintenance, log books, precedures and documentation;
-Train engineers at the base at workshop;
-Assess all engineers in line with company's procedures;
-Visit vessels offshore to access performance of engineers on the job;
-Identify people who need more urgently in-house training to organize sessions;
-Participate in identifying people needing external training;
-Inspects boats at arrival at Amadi base and assist with maintenance;
-Participate in analyzing incidents and improving human performance onboard;
-Inform Master training center about assessment progress (individual assessments results and progress in assessing all crews);
-Promote spirit of continuing improvement of skills and performance;
-Acts as a team player in the training team;
-Communicate with Master training center on training strategies and lesson sharing;
-Link as training team with Master training center for recommendations on posting.

Education & Experience
-Basic & Advanced SRCW 95 Mandatories;
-Chief Engineer unlimited with certificate STCW 95;
-Offshore experience.

Fluent in English
