Job Title: QA/QC SUPREINTENDENT
Job Descrirption
Main Activities:
Review, comment and approve the contents of the CONTRACTOR QA & QC Plan, Inspection and Test Plans, QA & QC procedures and Inspection records.
Attend and witness all CONTRACTOR tests carried out for the works; on and offsite.
Supervise where necessary Site testing.
Provide guidance and assistance where necessary for tests carried out on Site.
Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with the Scope of Works, Project and COMPANY Specifications & Drawings.
Record and report immediately all and any deviations from the Scope of Works, Project and COMPANY specifications & drawings.
Ensure all CONTRACTOR equipment used in the TESTING and Engineering of the works are within calibration and have all the required Test Certificates present and in date.
Hold and chair weekly QA/QC meetings with the CONTRACTOR and record minutes and actions arising there from.
Attend weekly and monthly Project meetings
Co-ordinate with all other QA/QC personnel on the Project.
Implement the full extent of the QA System.
Propose the Project specific Quality objectives for the OSC.
Co-ordinate the supervision/inspection resources needed within the OSC.
Write the OSC QA manual and procedures.
Responsible for the distribution of the Project procedures and forms.
Maintain and update the OSC QA System.
Work closely with and provide assistance to the other Project team members for the application of the Project QA system by contractors, sub-contractors and vendors.
Participates in all kick off meetings of the Project.
Conduct internal and external audits as needed.
Participates to any third party audit called on the Project.
Attends monthly steering committee meetings, weekly Project meetings and any other regular meeting as defined in the QA System.
Exercises team work and problem solving skills in assistance to the Project Team.
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications and Background
Engineering & Construction experience with more than 10 years construction proven successful experience (Oil & Gas experience is a plus).10 years experience in Civil Quality Control.
English language: good oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate efficiently.
