Job Title: HEAD CORROSION (Energy VC17822)
Location: Lagos 
Job 
Prepare and implement Corrosion-Prevention Policy.
Schedule and execute Corrosion Surveys and Studies and recommend the necessary, remedial actions.
Ensure that corrosion-monitoring operations are correctly performed as per COMPANY best practice
Review Corrosion-Monitoring and Inspection results regularly and assess together in view of providing a global evaluation of Integrity.
Supervise and validate yearly Coating-Integrity Surveys on all structures, equipment & modules of the Assets
Validate the scope of work. Follow budget and planning for Corrosion-Monitoring and Painting Campaigns.
Generate clear and concise Corrosion Reports, following Planned and Ad-hoc Inspections
Liaise with COMPANY Headquarters for corrosion matters with the aim of improving the physical integrity of Production Facilities.
Investigate and analyse Facility malfunctions from the stand point of Corrosion Evolutions and, in liaison with the Inspection Teams Onshore and Offshore, propose solutions to repair the equipment and prevent repetitions of the problem.
Ensure that Cathodic Protection systems are effective and optimally maintained, and that Cathodic Protection levels of Facilities are adequate.
Investigate and analyse Cathodic Protection results. Report any anomalies and propose solutions to prevent repetitions of the problem
Prepare Corrosion Methods, Management Systems, tools, Planning, Contracts and Cost Control of corrosion activities.
Prepare individual Service/task Procedures to ensure that all activities are carried out according to those Procedures and in strict compliance with Safety Regulations and Procedures contained therein. 

Requirements 
Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical, Metallurgical Engineering) .
Higher qualification in Corrosion Engineering (MSc or NACE Snr Corrosion Technologist)
5 years’ experience in Corrosion Engineer’s functions, preferably in E&P
Excellent communication and negotiation-skills.
Coating Inspectors Certification by a recognized body, (e.g. B.Gas/ NACE), would be an advantage
