Job Purpose:
The Finance / Account Mgr’s role is responsible for
budgeting, cost control, tracking, planning and analysis, P&L
review, and variance analysis / interpretation for the Hammakopp
Consortium project sites. This includes decision support for the
Hammakopp business. The Finance /Accounts Mgr. is also expected to contribute to the development and maintenance of Hammakopp’s financial and business planning, measurement / reporting frameworks, which effectively support decision making and drive the optimization and improvement of business performance and achievement of plans.
Key Result Areas Main Activities and Responsibilities
FINANCIAL PLANNING, BUDGETING, COST ACCOUNTING AND FORECASTING:
1. Analyze / consolidate financial reports.

2. Create and Maintain financial/Accounting reporting infrastructure to
capture costs and enable consolidated reporting within Obijackson Group
guidelines.
3. Work with CFO Obijackson Group and Hammakopp Sr Project Manager on annual business plans, long range plans, investment proposals, budgets and forecasts.
4. Obtain approval for request for fund from MD Hammakopp as passed by internal auditor.
5. Ensure proper payment of Monthly allowances of staff and expatriates as approved.
6. Present weekly and monthly financial report, cash and bank reconciliation to Executive Management.
7. Perform duties as assigned by Executive management.
8. Participate in the maintenance and development of Hammakopp’s business processes, IT systems, personnel and other infrastructure to support evolving management/financial information and operational needs of business.

Management of Junior Accountants:
1.Provide guidance and leadership to the projects Junior Accountants.
2.Assists in hiring and training, and manages the performance of the Junior Accountants.

Compliance with the OBIJACKSON GROUP Cmopliance Policies:
1.Participate in the Obijackson group financial team strategies and
ensure all local policies are consistent and compliant with the
Obijackson group policies and practices.
Cash and Working Capital Management:
1.Analyze and challenge business cash performance to identify and implement improvements.
2.Maintain and adhere to the Globowem’s operating cash flow and working capital forecasting and reporting framework.

Requirement:
Paper Qualification:
Finance/Accounting degree, advanced degree desired.
Professional qualifications: Chartered/certified accountant
Experience:
5 years plus experience desired
